How do I get to Saas-Fee?
About Saas-Fee
The car-free Saas-Fee (1800 m above sea level) lies at the foot of Switzerland's highest mountain, the Dom (4545 m above sea level), which can be admired particularly well from the world's highest revolving restaurant. In summer, there are numerous excursion destinations, 350 km of hiking and themed trails and, last but not least, the cuddliest inhabitants of the village: the famous tame marmots. In the cold season, Saas-Fee is THE Mecca for winter (sports) fans and all those who want to become one, with its excellent snow conditions and fantastically groomed pistes.
Arrival by public transport
There are train connections to Visp from the international airports of Zurich, Geneva, Basel Euro Airport, Milan, Amsterdam and Frankfurt. From there, the PostBus (bus 511 - direction Saas-Fee) takes you directly to the vacation region every half hour. From Zurich, Geneva, Basel Euro Airport and Milan airports, the journey takes around three hours by public transport.
